Why mushroom powders vary so much
Most mushroom supplements never say which part of the mushroom is in the capsule. Mycelium grown on grain is cheap to produce and the grain comes along with it, so a large milligram number can be mostly starch. Ours states fruiting body and mycelium powder, standardised to 40% polysaccharides.
